LETTER OF APPRECIATION

I’m getting old now and have been unwell for the past two months So consequently I have been unable to tend my allotment. However I went up today to make a start on clearing up knowing that I wouldn’t be able to achieve much.

While on the allotment Bridget Cowlin stopped and asked if I could do with any help and I said I’d try to get on with the work. Then half and hour later our Chairman, Bill Cowlin and Bridget appeared armed with their tools and set about the task vigorously working throughout the afternoon.

The transformation was brilliant and I was greatly relieved – what wonderful people – Bill and Bridget are. I cannot thank them enough for what they did.

This is typical of a caring team working atmosphere that has built up since Dick Good took over as Secretary. He has worked so hard to run the business effectively and to foster this kind of collective help, with everyone getting involved in maintaining the allotments

I’d also like to thank Dave Dismore and the others who knowing that I had been unwell asked how I was. Once again, thank you so much Bill and Bridget.
